On a small street off the Via Garibaldi, in the basement of what were the stables of a large palazzo, with  marble columns , high ceilings and stage-like decoration, we remembered our first visit here a year ago which we liked very much, and decided to return on October 16, 2006.

First dish choices included:

Cold sliced octopus with aromatic sauce,

Scallop salad with Treviso red wine sauce and red onions (which I had and was excellent in its freshness, and presentation as well as taste),

Cold tomato soup with shrimps and cucumbers.

Main dishes:

Pan seared sea bass with glazed vegetables and ginger sauce (excellent with a very mild ginger taste),

Wrapped sword fish in a rucolla sauce.

There was a short assortment of pastas: tagliatelle bianche, spaghetti vongole, all excellent , and dessert dishes: we shared a warm chocolate fondue with caramel.

Bill including a bottle of Torcavano, Nobile di Montepulciano came to 150 € for the four of us.  Service was a little slow but excellent.  They have an attractive bar, with a table loaded with appetizers.
