Bontá Restaurant, Hampton NH

On May  14, 2008 Chris, Lawrence, Linda and I dined at Bontá Restaurant on the Exeter Road in Hampton NH. We ordered a bottle of Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc (Napa), which arrived promptly and got things off to a good start. After that we had two bottles of the 2003 Clos La Chance (Santa Cruz )Pinot Noir.


Chris and Lawrence had the Caesar Salad Romaine Hearts, Caesar Dressing, Balsamic Reduction.


Linda and I started with Crispy Chicken Ginger Potstickers Ponzu Dipping Sauce


Lawrence went on to a
Center Cut Filet Mignon Grilled Sweet Corn & Chive Risotto, Vidalia Onion Rings, Hand Cut Basil Pesto

Chris’ main course was a
Painted Hills Natural Rib Eye Grilled Red Bliss Potatoes, Pea Shoots, Tomatoes, Pt. Reyes Blue Cheese


Linda and I each had a
Grilled Veal Chop Yukon Gold Potato & Andouille Hash, Balsamic Onion Jam, Sweet Pepper Sauce


Linda and Lawrence finished off with
Vanilla Crème Brulée Sugar Palmier

The meal was fine and we had an enjoyable evening in a nice ambience with good company. If you are ever looking for an enjoyable night out near Exeter, do not despair, Bontá will fill the bill.
